RYAN GRIFFIN'S "BEST COLD BEER" TOASTED BY SiriusXM'S THE HIGHWAY CHANNEL
With much of America celebrating Labor Day this weekend, hit songwriter and rising Country talent RYAN GRIFFIN spent the holiday with a different kind of buzz. His intoxicating new track “Best Cold Beer” was just added to SiriusXM’s The Highway channel, where it was featured as part of The Highway's influential “On The Horizon” show.
Penned by the “Dibs” co-writer (a PLATINUM-certified #1 for Kelsea Ballerini in 2015) with ace tunesmiths Josh Kear and busbee, “Best Cold Beer” is Griffin’s propulsive anthem to love-at-first-dance and a refreshing taste of things to come for the Florida native – who’s currently working on his upcoming full-length debut produced by busbee (Maren Morris, Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban).
With its buzzy turn of phrase and romantic country-pop style, “Best Cold Beer” has already made a splash. It was released on May 11 and immediately added to Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, part of an electrifying Country three pack (“Best Cold Beer,” “Good Company” and “Play It by Heart”) which have now accumulated 1.6 MILLION Spotify plays, pushing Griffin’s career total to well over 9 MILLION plays and counting.
The three pack highlights a distinctive sonic mix which lands somewhere between Brian McKnight and Keith Urban, as Griffin builds on his acclaim as a songwriter and growing reputation as a Country star in the making. He’s been featured as a SiriusXM Highway Find and named as one of Rolling Stone’s "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know," and is currently included on 2018 Ones to Watch lists by AOL, AXS, Country Fancast, NY Country Swag, PopDust and Thought Catalog.
Meanwhile, Griffin’s devoted fan base has been expanding all summer due to a schedule full of select festival dates – including Country Stampede, the Oregon Jamboree and more. Griffin has served as an opening act for chart-topping artists like Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, and Old Dominion, and on September 23 will add Cole Swindell to the list when he kicks off Swindell’s 8th Annual Salute to Heroes in Farmingville, NY.

ABOUT RYAN GRIFFIN
Already a hit maker with a #1 smash under his belt, Nashville based singer-songwriter Ryan Griffin is poised for a Country breakout in 2018. With three new songs released in May (“Good Company,” “Play It by Heart” and “Best Cold Beer"), the young Florida native adds the soul of R&B to the honest universality of Country, forging an emotionally-connected mix of romantic fun which lands somewhere between Keith Urban and Brian McKnight. After growing up on his family’s farm and moving to Music City at the age of 17, Griffin made his first mark in 2016 as a co-writer of Kelsea Ballerini’s “Dibs” – the PLATINUM-certified #1 single from Ballerini’s award-winning debut album, THE FIRST TIME. Far more than a behind-the-scenes tunesmith, he’s now creating a buzz as an artist in his own right. Following the 2017 release of his SAKE OF THE SUMMER EP – including the propulsive “Back Seats & Burnt CDs” and the vulnerable “Woulda Left Me Too” (which has been streamed more than 6 million times on Spotify to date) – Griffin has been featured as a SiriusXM Highway Find and as one of Rolling Stone’s "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know." He’s also been highlighted on 2018 Ones to Watch lists by AOL, AXS, Country Fancast, NY Country Swag, PopDust and Thought Catalog, and has opened massive concert dates for Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, Old Dominion and more.
