DYLAN SCOTT LAUNCHES LOUISIANA’S BAYOU STOCK TO HELP HOMETOWN KIDS IN NEED
Curb Records chart-topping Country star DYLAN SCOTT is giving back to his hometown community in a big way on November 17, hosting and headlining his inaugural BAYOU STOCK fundraising music festival in Sterlington, Louisiana. The breakout artist took to social media to share the news with his fans first here.
A native of nearby Bastrop, Louisiana, the “My Girl” and “Hooked” hitmaker will lead an exciting lineup of artists including Morgan Evans, Lainey Wilson and local artist Barrett Pepper, with proceeds helping to provide Christmas gifts for local kids in need. Starting at 3 p.m. (CT), the full-day of all-ages fun will feature music, food trucks, tailgating and more at the brand new Sterlington Sports Complex, as BAYOU STOCK marks one of the largest Country festivals to hit Northeast Louisiana in over 10 years.
"To say that I'm excited to put together and host the first annual Bayou Stock music festival in Sterlington, Louisiana, would be a HUGE understatement," shares Scott. "For many years, Tim McGraw hosted Swampstock in nearby Rayville, Louisiana, with the sole purpose of giving back to the community, and it was a monumental success. I have given a lot of thought as to how I could give back once I had the ability. With proceeds benefiting children in need in Northeast Louisiana during the holiday season, I decided Bayou Stock would be a great way to do it. I am really pumped over this opportunity and look forward to recreating and maintaining the wonderful tradition that Tim started back in 1994."
Tickets to the inaugural BAYOU STOCK go on sale Wednesday, September 12, and can be purchased at the event’s official website https://bayoustock.com.
The news arrives just as Scott is garnering another blast of national media attention, as the rising talent will appear on nationally-syndicated morning talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan on October 1. He’ll be on hand to perform his latest chart-rising hit, “Hooked,” which is now at #4 and climbing at Country radio.
The addictive anthem to love-at-first-sight appears on the expanded version of Scott’s Top 5 album debut, DYLAN SCOTT DELUXE EDITION, and follows in the footsteps of his first #1 smash – the PLATINUM-certified story of true romance, “My Girl,” which topped the charts in 2017 and became the #7 most-played song of the year.

ABOUT DYLAN SCOTT:
A Louisiana native with a lifelong passion for Country music, Dylan Scott is the total package – a powerful singer with a deep, resonating drawl; an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit; a heartthrob with an easy smile; and a dreamer who followed his father's footsteps to Nashville. Prior to landing his record deal, Scott learned the basics of singing and playing guitar from his dad – a former guitar player for Country legends Freddy Fender and Freddy Hart. He then launched onto the Country music scene in 2013 with “Making This Boy Go Crazy,” the debut single from his self-titled EP. His follow up, the infectious “Crazy Over Me,” debuted at #14 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart and hit the Top 40 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. In the summer of 2016, his debut album for Curb Records, DYLAN SCOTT, landed in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart, and its romantic standout RIAA PLATINUM certified single, “My Girl,” became his FIRST CAREER #1 at Country radio. According to Nielsen Music Connect, fans have streamed Scott’s songs 454 million times and counting, and sales have topped 4M song equivalent sales – figures that continue to grow by leaps and bounds. After wrapping up his successful MY TOWN TOUR in the summer of 2017, Scott embarked on Justin Moore’s HELL ON A HIGHWAY TOUR as the featured supporting act. His current radio single, “Hooked,” has been streamed over 67.5 million times and continues to expand Dylan's audience as it rises to the top of the Country radio charts.
