Tune in when Curb Records chart-topper DYLAN SCOTT takes his addictive, GOLD-certified single “Hooked” to television audiences this Monday (10/1). The rising star is hot off another Top 5 Country radio smash, and is set to perform his propulsive anthem on the nationally-syndicated morning talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Featured on the expanded version of Scott’s Top 5 debut album, DYLAN SCOTT DELUXE EDITION, the romantic jam mixes hot-blooded passion with classic chivalry and Country charm, and marks the second big hit of Scott’s career. His previous single, the true-life love story “My Girl,” earned the Louisiana native the first #1 of his career on both Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country Airplay charts, and a PLATINUM certification to go with it.
Scott will also appear on GAC Monday (10/1), sitting down for a candid interview about his life and career with the network’s Susan Alexander at 8 a.m. ET.
The hard-touring hitmaker won’t be slowing down as fall turns into winter. Used to delivering 200-plus shows every year, he’ll kick off his headlining NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR in New York City on January 17 with more than a dozen nationwide dates on deck. And before that, he’ll step up to support his hometown region with the inaugural BAYOU STOCK fundraising music festival in Sterlington, Louisiana, on November 17 – one of the biggest Country music festivals Northeast Louisiana has seen in over a decade. Scott leads a bill which also features Mark Chesnutt, Morgan Evans, Lainey Wilson and local artist Barrett Pepper, with proceeds making Christmas brighter for local kids in need. ABOUT DYLAN SCOTT:
A Louisiana native with a lifelong passion for Country music, Dylan Scott is the total package – a powerful singer with a deep, resonating drawl; an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit; a heartthrob with an easy smile; and a dreamer who followed his father's footsteps to Nashville. Prior to landing his record deal, Scott learned the basics of singing and playing guitar from his dad – a former guitar player for Country legends Freddy Fender and Freddy Hart. He then launched onto the Country music scene in 2013 with “Making This Boy Go Crazy,” the debut single from his self-titled EP. His follow up, the infectious “Crazy Over Me,” debuted at #14 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart and hit the Top 40 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. In the summer of 2016, his debut album for Curb Records, DYLAN SCOTT, landed in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart, and its romantic standout RIAA PLATINUM-certified single, “My Girl,” became his FIRST CAREER #1 at Country radio. Scott’s irresistible followup, “Hooked,” has achieved GOLD-certified status and become the second Top 5 Country radio hit of his career, also bringing in 80 million streams and counting. According to Nielsen Music Connect, fans have streamed Scott’s songs an impressive 454+ million times so far, and sales have topped 4 million song equivalent sales – figures that continue to grow by leaps and bounds. After wrapping up his successful MY TOWN TOUR in the summer of 2017, Scott embarked on Justin Moore’s HELL ON A HIGHWAY TOUR as the featured supporting act, and will headline the NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR this winter.
